Two brothers, one van, no nonsense
We're Jonty and Brian. We started The Plumbing Brothers because we kept hearing the same stories from the people we knew: a tradesperson who never turned up, a bill that doubled halfway through, a job left half-finished with the tools still on the floor. We reckoned we could do better than that, so we got qualified and put our name on the van.
The plan was always simple. Turn up when we say we will. Tell you what's wrong before we fix it. Quote the job up front and stick to that price. Leave the place as clean as we found it. Nothing clever — just plumbing done the way it should be done.

BPEC Level 2 qualified
Both of us hold our BPEC Level 2 — the recognised qualification for domestic plumbing. We're working toward Level 3 now, and we'll open up heating and boiler work the proper way once we're Gas Safe registered.
Fully insured
We carry public liability insurance, so your home and our work are both covered. We're happy to show you the certificate before we start — just ask.
Heating & boilers — coming soon
We won't touch gas until we're Level 3 and Gas Safe registered. It's that simple. We'd rather do it right than do it fast, and we'll tell you the moment we're taking those jobs.
Local matters
Ashford is home now — we both grew up and worked in South Africa before relocating to the UK, bringing the renowned SA work ethic, adaptability and problem-solving instinct with us.
Being local matters to us. We're never more than a short drive away when something goes wrong, and when we quote a job, we're quoting someone we might see in the supermarket next week — so it has to be right, and it has to be honest. That's the whole business, really.
