When you use the enquiry forms on our Get a Quote and Contact pages, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, property address or postcode, the enquiry details you write in the message field, and any optional photos of the job you upload so we can see the problem before we come out.

We do not collect or store payment card details through this website, and there is no on-site payment processing. If you ever pay us, it is by bank transfer or another method we agree with you directly — never through a form on this site.

We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, and to carry out the work if you go ahead. The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering into one) and our legitimate interest in running the business and responding to customers who contact us.

We do not use your information for marketing unless you separately opt in. If you do opt in, you can opt out again at any time.

We share your information only with the providers we need to run the website and respond to enquiries:

• Our website hosting and database provider (Supabase), acting as a data processor on our behalf.
• Our email delivery provider, used to send enquiry notifications to us and auto-reply confirmations to you.

We never sell your information, and we never share it with third parties for marketing. The only people who see your enquiry details are Brian and Jonty, plus the providers above who handle the technical delivery.

We keep your enquiry data for 24 months from the date of the enquiry. If the enquiry becomes a job, the information is kept for the normal accounting and record-keeping periods that apply to that work instead. If you would like us to delete what we hold about you sooner, just ask and we will.

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, the right to ask us to correct anything that is wrong, and the right to ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to restrict or stop using it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will sort it out.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can do that at ico.org.uk or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113. We would ask that you raise it with us first so we have the chance to put it right, but you do not have to.
